Rhode Island Cancer Plan

2022-2026 RI Cancer
Prevention & Control Strategic Plan

The Partnership is pleased to share the new 2022-2026 RI Cancer Prevention & Control Strategic Plan. The RI State Cancer Plan identifies goals, objectives, and strategies to prevent and control the burden of cancer in the state. The goals, objectives, and strategies in the new plan were developed with the opinions of healthcare and public health professionals, advocates, caregivers, and cancer survivors. Stakeholders including individuals, community-based organizations, providers, healthcare systems, health insurers, policymakers, employers, and professional organizations are encouraged to view the plan and use it to guide their efforts to reduce the burden of cancer in Rhode Island.

*Please note that this version of the plan is not final. This is a working document and the Partnership will be working with the RI Department of Health on Phase 2 revisions.
