Course Description – 

​

This educational activity will provide social workers, nurses, dental professionals, and other members of the healthcare team with information about how oral health impacts the patient’s quality of life. Members of the healthcare team will learn of the impact of cancer care on increasing risk for oral health problems, and strategies for prevention and management of dental disease. Web-based resources available to healthcare professionals when working with clients and their families will be introduced.
