The Partnership is pleased to be a collaborative partner for the upcoming live webinar Future of Lung Cancer Screening for All Communities in Rhode Island: Where We Are and Where We Need to Be taking place on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 12:00 PM- 1:30 PM.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for primary care physicians, oncologists, physician assistants, registered nurses, community health education specialists, social workers, respiratory therapists, tobacco treatment specialists, and other allied members of the healthcare team caring for patients at risk for lung cancer.

Credit Designation

• Physicians: The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

• Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners: Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance stating this program is designated for 1.5 hours AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

• Nursing Continuing Education: This activity has been submitted to Northeast Multi-State Division (NE-MSD) for approval to award nursing contact hours. 

• Respiratory Therapist Accreditation: An application has been submitted to the American Association for Respiratory Care. 

• Social Work Continuing Education: An application has been submitted to the National Association of Social Workers Rhode Island Chapter.

• Certified Health Education Specialist Accreditation: This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) up to 1.5 total Category I contact education contact hours.
