Patricia Stout, DNP, APRN-CNP
Chair
Dr. Patricia Stout is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner with a specialty in primary care nursing. She has taught both undergraduate and graduate students at the College of Nursing at the University of RI and works collaboratively with Intercultural Nursing, Inc. Patricia was recently granted Professor Emeritus from the University of RI.
Patricia serves as Chair of the Board for the Partnership where she has lent her extensive experience in cancer prevention strategy and educational focus since joining in 2017. She is currently the Director of the Board, is a member of the Steering Committee and General Board as well as being involved in the Governance, Strategic Planning, Fundraising efforts and the Oral Health Task Force for the organization.
Lynn Basilio, MS
Co-Chair
Lynn Basilio, MS, is Senior Director, State Partnerships with the American Cancer Society, Northeast Region. She has worked in public health for more than 25 years, primarily in cancer control. With ACS since 2005, she has worked on cancer prevention, education, access to care, health equity, and survivorship. She has worked with the Partnership in the development of our Strategic Plan and Governance and has been on our board since 2020.
Linda Dzobiek, RN
Secretary
Linda is a volunteer and cancer advocate in addition to her role on the board of the PRCRI. As a cancer survivor, she has over 50 years of nursing experience having worked as the VP of Clinical Services, Crossroads Healthcare for the Homeless, Infection Control Coordinator, Surgical ICU, Medical Surgery, and Research. Her keen interests are in the areas of survivorship, Education and Policy/Advocacy. She joins the board in 2024.
Jeremy Lawton, MBA
Treasurer
In his role as Treasurer, Jeremy lends the Partnership his experience and in-depth knowledge of finance and wealth management. He is on the team of advisors at Wealth Management Resources in Smithfield, RI and has served on the board of the Partnership since 2021 where he has assisted in the board structure and most recently the governance committee.

Abdul Saied Calvino, MD, MPH, FACS
Surgical Oncologist, Roger Williams Medical Center
Dr. Saied Calvino graduated from the University of Panama Medical School. He works in Providence, RI and specializes in Surgical Oncology and Surgery. Dr. Saied Calvino is affiliated with Roger Williams Medical Center. He joined the board in 2020.
Susan DeSanto-Madeya, Ph.D, RN, FAAN
Professor, College of Nursing, University of RI
Susan joined the Board of the Partnership in 2020. She is passionate about and committed to optimizing the quality of life for persons, families, and communities through inclusive and equitable cancer care throughout the health-illness continuum. Susan is excited to work with the Partnership and their community partners to promote knowledge of and the early integration of Palliative Care for all persons and families living with cancer.
Regina Donald, MBA, BSN, RN
RN, Hematology/Oncology at Lifespan; RI Chapter, Oncology Nursing Society Director at Large
Regina was a registered nurse in Hematology/Oncology working at Lifespan for 28 years. She has been a long standing volunteer to the board and conference committee of the RI/SE MA Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society and has been instrumental as a liaison between the chapter and other oncology related non-profits like the Partnership, to promote common initiatives. She has been on the board of PRCRI since 2022.
Diane C. Martins, PhD, RN, FAAN
Professor Emerita, College of Nursing, University of RI
Dr. Diane Martins’ teaching, research, and service commitments are to public health/community health nursing and populations with limited resources. She has presented her work nationally and internationally. Diane also focuses on cancer prevention and care for underserved populations and joined the board of the PRCRI in 2020.
Norma V. Hardy, M.Ed. CHES
Co-Director of the Community Health Workers’ Training Program at Epilepsy
Foundation New England.
Norma Hardy is a Certified Public Health Education Specialist with over
twenty years of Community Based Research experience in program planning, program development and Implementation for low income and minority populations. Norma completed her graduate studies in Public & Community Health Education at Rhode Island College and is an Adjunct Professor in the department of Health & Physical Education at RIC.
